This Spring-CUREchief teams up with Connecticut Schools planning “Make a Difference Day’s”

This spring we are asking all students attending Connecticut Schools to come forward and “Make a Difference”
If you are a school leader or just a great event planner this project is for you!
First pick a date, then advertise & promote your “Make a Difference Day”
The CUREchief Foundation will supply your school with plenty of CUREchiefs, your job will be to ask students, teachers & everyone you know to make $1 donation and take a CUREchief to “pass forward” to someone that has been touched by cancer~
Your event/sales could last for one week, on the final day of the event if you would like, Sandy and her daughters will come tell “The Story of CUREchief” to your students. On February 3rd Sandy had the honor of meeting and speaking to over 500 Students and Teachers at Green Acres Elementary School in North Haven Connecticut, where they collected over $1000.00 in donations and passed forward over 500 CUREchiefs! We call our volunteers- “Caring People Brought Together Through Fabric” They range in age from 3 to 103!
Schools throughout the United States, The Aetna Volunteer Council, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Senior Adult Day Centers, Connecticut Association of schools, CCD Students, YMCA, Best Buddies, ARC of Meriden and Wallingford Ct., Sarah Inc., Oak Hill School for the Blind, Woman’s Clubs, Connecticut Junior Woman & Juniorettes Clubs, Rotary, Jaycees, Jewish Community Center, The United Way, The Alzheimer’s Association

CUREchief needs YOU!
If you would like to assist us in raising awareness and funding, there are many ways that you can get involved today!

• Organize and sell “Cupcakes for CUREchief”

• Plan a “Fabric Drive”collect cotton, flannel and fleece that we can use to make CUREchiefs

• Have a “dress down day” where you pay $ to wear jeans or casual clothes to work. If you wear a school uniform, at school.

• Organize and hold a “car wash” with your group.

• “Make a Change Week” everyone brings in spare change for the week. You could hold a contest between grades or teams at work.
